The softball community is mourning after the sudden death of Mahwelereng Spikes Softball star Clement Choeu who was involved in a car collision Sunday morning, just moments before the LSA Ordinary Members Meeting. News of his passing sent shock amongst the softball community and his loved ones.

The catcher was a pioneer in the development and growth of Mahwelereng Spikes ladies coaching staff and a master on the pitch. He played a vital role in the Provincial team as they took 2nd place in the 2014 National Provincial Championships.

Clement will always be remembered for his energetic spirit an enthusiasm, which he brought every time he steps on and off the pitch. As we say farewell to our brother, we shall never forget the joy and laughter he brought in our lives. ‘Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.’
